Two things that I find interesting are: that you should conference with students to see if an evaluation is not appropriate for him or her, and also that a differentiated task should be so exciting and appealing that the particular student won't care what others are doing.
How does this further relate to RTI? Note - The 3-2-1 exit strategy gives data about what key points students have learned, defines where students are currently at, and points to potential gaps in learning. (Assess, Instruct, Monitor)
The video is very good. I would love to show it to my staff. I would still like to find some strategies to assist teachers in recognizing how simple differentiation can have such an impact on students. I would also like to find ways to provide staff time to differentiate.
